Product Description

Heat Resistant Building Material VIP Board Vacuum Insulated Glass Panel
The vacuum insulation panel (VIP) is designed and manufactured in our own factory, which can meet the highest thermal protection standard of your product even under extreme environmental conditions.
VIP is a kind of thermal insulation panel, and its thermal insulation performance is ten times higher than that of traditional thermal insulation materials. VIP is a vacuum airtight heat insulation panel with excellent heat insulation performance. The core material is composed of compressed powder board of fumed silica, which is flame retardant. It is sealed with a gas tight film under vacuum. By forming a vacuum, gas conduction is eliminated.

Features
• Excellent thermal efficiency: VIPs provide an insulating performance that has a significant improvement over other commonly available insulation materials. Because they rely on the insulation property of a vacuum they can easily achieve low U-values with minimum thickness.

• Ideal for upgrading insulation during refurbishment. When upgrading, thermal performance in an existing building, it can often be hard to fit more insulation without adding to construction thickness, which might reduce the amount of daylight into the building or extending the eaves but with VIPs this can be overcome due to the thin nature of the insulation.

• Reliable long term performance over life time of building.

• Fits in tight spaces for new builds. VIPs are the perfect solution in areas where lack of construction space or thickness is an issue, for example, better insulation can be achieved on a floor without the need to raise skirting boards or radiators and without changing the floor level; excavating the floor or adding in a step at a doorway when adding in a new extension or balcony.

• Sleek design. Having to incorporate large amounts of space for insulation can often compromise the look and feel of a building, but with VIPs, the same levels of insulation can be achieved with much thinner insulation. Difficult areas, such as dormer windows or balconies which may have gone uninsulated because of lack of space available, can be insulated without having to alter the design of the building.

Typical Lambda values for insulation types:

Fibreglass - 040 W/mK EPS - 038 W/mK PIR - 022 W/mK VIP - 006 W/mK (core only) This huge decrease in Lambda value means that a much smaller depth of insulation can achieve the necessary U-values.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:What is Radiant Barrier?
A:Radiant Barrier is a reflective insulation that is usually made of aluminum. Radiant Barrier insulation is installed in attics and inside of buildings, either alone or in combination with other types of insulation. Unlike some other common forms of insulation, Radiant Barrier requires a small airspace in order to be effective. Once installed properly, Radiant Barrier is extremely effective, blocking up to 97% of radiant heat transfer.
Q:How does Radiant Barrier work?
A:Radiant barrier is a unique insulation solution in that it reflects rather than absorbs heat, unlike traditional insulation. Heat never stays in one place; it is constantly moving from a warmer to a colder space. This happens through conduction (heat flowing directly through the wall, ceiling, or roof), convection (warm air rising as it heats up and expands) or radiation (heat rays radiating from a warm space to a cooler space, such as when your furnace or coffee mug gives off heat). Regular forms of insulation only slow radiant heat loss - they cannot stop it. With its unique reflective properties, Radiant Barrier stops the vast majority of radiant heat loss in its tracks, keeping your space cool or warm at a reduced cost.
Q:Does Radiant Barrier have an R-Value?
A:Unlike other forms of insulation, Radiant Barrier does not usually have a measured R-Value. Since Radiant Barrier is usually installed on top of existing insulation, where it reflects heat back to its source, the R-Value is not an accurate measurement of the energy savings that Radiant Barrier provides.
Q:How effective is Radiant Barrier insulation in different seasonal extremes?
A:Since Radiant Barrier eliminates the radiation of heat, it is effective at preserving desired internal temperatures in both the summer and winter months. Insulating your home with Radiant Barrier prevents heat from radiating out to the cold outdoors in the winter. The reverse is true in the summer when the hot sun radiates heat down on the roof of a building. Radiant Barrier insulation installed in the attic will reflect the majority of heat back to its source, making your internal air conditioning more effective.
Q:Has Radiant Barrier been independently tested or certified for effectiveness?
A:Scientific experts at a number of institutions have confirmed the reflective properties and effectiveness of Radiant Barrier, including the Florida Solar Energy Center at Cape Canaveral, the University of Mississippi, the Tennessee Valley Authority, Oak Ridge Laboratories in Tennessee, and Northeastern Illinois University. Analysis has found that Radiant Barrier prevents the radiant transfer of heat in both warm and cold conditions, with up to 97% effectiveness. In contrast, ordinary building materials performing under similar conditions only reflect around 10% of radiant heat.
Q:What is the difference between foil-faced Fiberglass and Radiant Barrier?
A:The foil surface on foil-faced Fiberglass insulation is in contact with the floor in the attic, which raises the level of conduction. In contrast, Radiant Barrier makes use of an airspace, which helps reduce heat transfer.
Q:How will Radiant Barrier affect my roof's temperature? Will it be higher?
A:No. Field testing has confirmed that the use of Radiant Barrier does not raise a roof's temperature.
Q:Can I keep my current insulation when installing Radiant Barrier?
A:Yes! Radiant Barrier is easily installed alongside existing insulation. Installing Radiant Barrier with its strong reflective properties will raise the effectiveness of the insulation you already have.
Q: Why should we choose the Qiyao brand over the competition?
A: Our core competence is our ability to source quality products from top-notch factories around the world. We are very meticulous in the process of filtering out suppliers who have the ability to deliver quality products at cost effective pricing, and also most importantly we only deal with those suppliers who have utmost integrity and professionalism. With Qiyao you get better quality materials comparable to big named brands at the right price
Q: How about quality control?
A: We have stable workers and engineers to make sure our quality is stable for years. Our purchase department will check the raw materials, our engineers will test the machines and the first few quantities before mass production, our QC will check the quality in production for thickness, length, width, weight…
Q:What's the regular package?
A: Flexible packing according to the specific requirements of the clients.
PE bag plastic packaging (roll / bag) / woven bag packaging(roll / bag)--pallet packaging PE bag plastic packaging (roll / bag) / woven bag packaging(roll / bag)--Bulk
Q:DO YOU HAVE A minimum QTY?
A:Yes, we require all international orders to have an ongoing minimum order quantity. If you are looking to resell but in much smaller quantities, we recommend you check out our website
Q:Delivery time delay?
A: If the goods are in stock, it usually takes 5-10 days. If the goods are not in stock, it will take 15-20 days, depending on
the quantity. Usually within 30 days.
Q:Can I order a small qty or less container to start ?
A:It's welcome for any quantity, we support small clients growing. If you are an end user, it would save you money because we are factory direct selling. But if you are buying these products for resell or wholesale, as these products are large-volume items, we suggest you container load to save your shipping cost and make you more competitive.
